
Follow the process outlined below to secure your spot working for the Pineville Police Department.

The first step in the hiring process is to submit your Employment Application.
Click the button below to be taken to the application and begin filling out.
If you are returning to the application, your progress will be saved.
Once you have submitted your application, and completed the Pre-Screen Phase, you need to register to attend a Testing Day with Pineville PD.
On Testing Day, you will first take the JRPAT. After passing the JRPAT you will then move to the Written Exam component.
If you pass both exams, you will be done with each of these steps after one day.

After passing your JRPAT and Written Exam, your next step is to schedule a Ride-Along.
To schedule this Ride-Along click the button below to download the Ride-Along waiver. You will need to print out this waiver and have it notarized prior to turning it in.
All persons authorized to ride in police vehicles will participate only in the capacity of a passenger/observer. Participants will not take part in any police action or function.
